Amit Sadh is not a name of an actor; it is the term for being nostalgic about 20s… I am not emphasizing on the strong characters played by him in critically acclaimed movies such as Sultan, Kai Po Che, Sarkar 3, Barot House, Sukhee and more… In most scenarios, artists who played character roles contribute to the success of a movie than the main leads; Amit Sadh is one of them.
How many times have we remembered an artist who played a small character role in the movie but, left a lasting impression on the audience? A few examples that come in the mind are Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjay Mishra, Mona Singh, Naseeruddin Shah, Irrfan Khan, Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpayee, Boman Irani, Shreya Narayan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadha, Arshad Warsi, Sudhanshu Pandey, and more… Many of these names later became lead for some of the most successful Bollywood Titles. Amongst these names, one name that cannot be neglected is Amit Sadh.
Should he be termed as a common actor or an extra ordinary artist?
Sultan wouldn’t be complete if the founder of Pro Takedown Aakash Oberoi (played by Amit Sadh) didn’t find him. Shilpa Shetty in Sukhee would never understand her worth and agree to reconcile her marriage if she didn’t meet her childhood secret admirer Chamgadad (played by Amit Sadh). These special roles are special to our hearts because we see the movie through these characters rather always the main leads.
Other than the reel life, artists like Amit Sadh have motivated us with their real life events too! Amit Sadh’s solo journey on bike from ‘Mumbai to Leh’ is a story in itself. He documented everything of his real life experience during this journey and that has been highly motivational to many viewers.
His bike expedition journey reflects a strong message;
it is better to enjoy the journey than worrying about the destination…
Referring to them as ‘Actors’ will restrict their skills and qualities; people like Amit Sadh are ‘Artists’ that carve every event beautifully in their own way. Their talent is not restricted to acting; they explore things beyond to reach out the audience in some or the other way.

Unlike actors that read scripts and demand lead roles in the movies, Amit Sadh has been flexible in terms of his roles. Rather relying on lead, he takes roles and puts his best efforts in those roles that leave a lasting impression on the audience (the Vikram Verma from Sukhee being my most favorite!).

Dare devil:
Do I need to add more? Someone that hails from Delhi, makes his own base in Mumbai, and explores the mountains with no fear of being judged or labeled is a true definition of dare devil. Not many of us are aware that he lost his father at the age of 16; Shri Ram Chandra Dogra was a National Level Hockey Player. Amit Sadh left his home at an early age and worked as a cleaner, watchman, and security guard to survive. Despite the challenges, he took the risk of exploring acting over other fulltime career options. It is another sign of taking risks in life without any regrets!

The sign of a true artist is to continue investing the same level of energy, efforts, and dedication regardless of whether you are acting, exploring, taking a break, riding a bike, etc… Amit Sadh’s journey as per his social media updates and projects showcases him as a strong personality.
Many people mistake strength with power in the body; it is strength in your mind that constantly channelizes your soul to keep going.

Self-acclaimed:
To me, Amit Sadh is a self-acclaimed artist that doesn’t need approval of others. Such artists do not need validation, recognition, and awards to prove their worth or work. I wouldn’t categorize them as stars; artists like Amit Sadh are planets that have built their own system and their world revolves on their own without the support of a galaxy.
